How to Freeze Corn

It’s still corn season! But it won’t last much longer. How can you enjoy Harward Farms corn year round? You can freeze it to enjoy until next July when all our fresh, local, goodness will be back in full swing. But, isn’t freezing corn difficult? Surprisingly, it’s not. Just follow our simple instructions below to prepare your corn for delicious freezing. Happy freezing!



1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.

2. Drop shucked ears of corn into boiling water

3. Cook 2-3 minutes.

4. Remove from water to a large bowl and let cool a few minutes until you can handle them.

5. Cut kernels off of cobs

6. Seal in a freezer safe Ziploc bag, remove as much air as possible andĀ freeze
