It’s planting season! Ramon has been busy getting our fields ready for planting by tilling and shaping our rows with a GPS-guided. GPS ensures perfectly straight rows to maximize each field’s capacity.

Did you know that to grow plentiful crops, we must take care of the soil months before planting?  Before winter sets in, we put our fields “to bed.”  This means we remove all the harvested plants, till the ground, and make new rows, so when the winter weather hits, Mother Nature’s process is continuously mixing the soil and minerals.  Putting the fields to bed helps make the soil rich and easier to cultivate in the Spring.
